THE NFL has found a gap in the schedule for another international game in 2025.
The league confirmed a return to Sao Paulo, Brazil is on the cards for next season.

The Los Angeles Chargers were announced as the home team for the Week 1 game in 2025.
It will be played on Friday 5 September at the Corinthians Arena.
That will be a day after the Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles kick off the 2025 campaign.
The NFL doesn’t schedule Friday or Saturday games during high school and college season as part of an agreement.
But that only kicks in from the second Friday of September.
Last year the Brazil game saw the Eagles beat the Green Bay Packers.
That was also played on Friday in Week 1 – a day after the season-opener – and was streamed only on Peacock.
The NFL has announced some new international destinations for games in 2025 and beyond.
The league will play in Madrid, Spain for the first time ever with the Miami Dolphins the home team.
And there will be a game in Dublin, Ireland where the Pittsburgh Steelers have been designated to play.
Those two join a six-game slate to be played in Europe in 2025.
Three of those will be played in London, England, as was the case in 2024.
And the Germany game will be played in Berlin for the first time ever with the Indianapolis Colts the home team.
Melbourne, Australia will also host a game in 2026, the NFL confirmed.
Wednesday’s announcement of the Sao Paulo game takes the 2025 international slate to seven in total.
A return to Mexico City could also be on the cards after renovations to the Estadio Azteca ahead of the 2026 Fifa World Cup.
“The ownership’s approved eight (international) games already,” Goodell said in Brazil last year.
“I hope to get that to 16 at some point in the future.
“Let’s see how that goes.”
