Minnesota Timberwolves Anthony Edwards has limitless confidence and that was incredibly clear when he spoke with Barack Obama.
Edwards was featured in a newly recent Netflix series about the Olympics called Court of Gold. During one of the episodes, the Team USA guard spoke to the 44th President of the United States.
You would think that meeting Obama would feel like a humbling experience for anyone. But that was certainly not the case for Edwards, who seemed to only get more confident when talking with Obama.

During the exchange, Obama asked Joel Embiid what he thought about Edwards. He said, “He can hoop a little bit, huh?”
But that wasn’t enough for Edwards, who responded that Embiid and Obama better “stand down” because he was “the truth” in an absurdly braggadocios exchange.
Obama and Embiid both laughed and then the former President of the United States called over LeBron James to ask for his help. He asked if LeBron was “talking to this young man” because Edwards referred to himself as the truth.
This was such a perfect explanation of Edwards’ unfiltered personality and why he plays with so much confidence on the court.
