SDF's Abdi congratulates Al-Sharaa, invites him to visit northeastern Syria ...Iraq

In an interview with “North Press”, Abdialso congratulated Syria's Transitional President, Ahmad Al-Shara, on assumingoffice nearly three weeks ago.

Commenting on al-Shara's visit toAfrin, Abdi called it an "important initiative to encourage the safereturn of the original residents and promote dialogue." He also invitedthe transitional president to visit northeastern Syria.

Earlier, Al-Sharaa had revealed somedifferences with the SDF regarding specific details. In response, Abdi revealedthat Damascus had requested the removal of non-Syrian fighters from theirranks, the handover of security responsibilities, including ISIS detainees, tothe Syrian government, and the return of central government institutions tonorthern and eastern Syria.

He also expressed openness to anational solution agreed upon by all Syrians, and confirmed that the SDF isplanning another visit to Damascus to discuss a clear action plan forimplementing the agreed-upon solutions.
