Missouri lotto chiefs revealed one ticket was bought at a store in Branson, known as The Pantry.

The slip matched five white balls and will expire on April 23.

Another ticket, which achieved the same feat, was bought at a QuikTrip convenience store in Kansas City.

That $1 million prize will expire on May 14 if no one comes forward, per the Missouri Lottery.

The two sums are not the only prizes at risk of expiry.

Two Powerball tickets, worth $50,000 each, will expire on March 29 if they are not cashed in.

Bosses have warned that winners have 180 days to claim their respective winnings.

If not, the money will be put in a pot designed to benefit education in the state.

Players must overcome odds of one in 12.6 million to land the second highest prize on the game.

Prizes on the game of chance range from $2 to the jackpot.

But, winners must defy odds of one in 302.6 million to land the top prize.

The jackpot prize stands at $145 million and has a cash option of $66.3 million.

It was not won following the draw on Valentine’s Day.

But, there were two tickets that matched five numbers.

One was bought in California and the other in Pennsylvania, according to Mega Millions officials.

The next draw will take place on Tuesday night at 11pm Eastern.

Mega Millions players have been warned of a series of changes that will impact all gamblers.

From April, the price of a ticket will rise to $5.

The price hike is just one of eight changes coming into force.

But chiefs have revealed there will be opportunities for players.

Break even prizes will soon be a thing of the past and there will be larger jackpot pots.

And players will also see improved odds to win jackpots.
