Flights halted between Iran and Lebanon ...Iraq

In a press statement, Pour Farzaneh commented onIsrael’s threat to target Iranian flights heading to Lebanon, stating he hadnot heard such a threat.

Pour Farzaneh emphasized that the Iranian CivilAviation Organization would follow up on the matter daily, saying, "Wewill definitely resolve this issue."

Additionally, Iranrejected Lebanon's request for two Middle East Airlines planes to evacuateLebanese citizens stranded in Tehran, after Lebanon refused to allow an Iranianplane to land in Beirut.

Iranian Ambassador to Beirut, MojtabaAmani, stated that Tehran welcomes flights from Lebanese airlines but not atthe expense of canceling Iranian flights to Lebanon.
