Dolly Parton’s Collaboration With Major Pop Star Called ‘Devious Work’ ...Saudi Arabia

News by : (Parade) -

The veteran country crooner joined Carpenter on a Thelma & Louise-esque remix of her hit "Please Please Please," which was released as part of a deluxe edition of her latest album Short n' Sweet, remaking the music video which originally starred the newer artists' now-ex, Barry Keoghan.

Over the summer, one fan pointed out that the Irish actor is "one of the few men in sabrina’s music videos to survive," going on to joke after the release of the latest video that the observation had "aged like milk."

"A song revolving around your ex dropping on Valentine’s Day with DOLLY PARTON is devious work," one wrote proudly, with another agreeing that the "fact that Sabrina Carpenter releas[ed] this [music video on] Valentine's day with Barry ending like that is DIABOLICAL!"

Many also celebrated Carpenter's opportunity to work with the country legend, whose influence can be heard in her previous album Emails I Can't Send.

"my face was permanently frozen into the biggest grin you have ever seen for the entirety of this music video," someone else gushed, as another emphasized, "THIS IS A LIFELONG DREAM COLLABORATION FOR SABRINA, DOLLY IS A LEGEND AND DID A GREAT JOB ADDING HER OWN FLAIR TO A MASTERPIECE ALREADY!"
