The game was mostly dominated by the Eagles, but that doesn’t mean the contest didn’t make history.
On Thursday, Fox revealed that it recorded the most-watched Super Bowl pregame show on record.
Fox NFL Sunday, which starred Bradshaw, Michael Strahan, Jimmy Johnson, Rob Gronkowski and host Curt Menefee, averaged a record 23.4 million viewers from 1:00 pm Eastern to kick-off.
Then, a record 127.7 million Americans tuned in for the Super Bowl.

“Congratulations Fox. Good job,” another wrote.
“Cool,” a third added.
Before the Super Bowl, the 76-year-old Bradshaw revealed his plans to hang up his microphone.
Bradshaw said that he intends to retire after the 2029 Super Bowl – when he’ll be close to 80 years of age.
“I told my wife before I left the room a while ago, I’m sitting there, I said, ‘I’ve got two years left at FOX. I’m 76,” he said during a media scrum last week.
“Okay, so it’s a young man’s game. I get that. Everybody wants the new.
“And so I said, ‘If we can get to the next Super Bowl, I’ll be 80. That’s, I think that’s time’.
“80 years old, that’s pushing it.”
Bradshaw has been with Fox since 1994.
He’s been a huge part of the network’s NFL success.
The Pittsburgh Steelers legend earns close to $5 million per season with Fox NFL.
