South Africa National Cricket Team, who recently announced their squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025, faced a massive blow after revealing the side. Star pacer Anrich Nortje was ruled out of the tournament with a recurring back injury. The pacer has been out of action since the T20 World Cup 2024.
Apart from this, South Africa have also added young pacer Kwena Maphaka to the team as a traveling reserve. He, along with batter Tony de Zorzi, will travel to Pakistan on Sunday (9 February) for the tri-series against Pakistan and New Zealand.
