SAM’S Club has shared a tip revealing how shoppers can call for their fan favorites to be brought back.
One customer has begged for the Costco rival to add a diet Mountain Dew option to its café soda fountains.
Sam’s Club shoppers are calling for a change in food court menusGoogle Sam’s Club sent a link to the shopper to request the itemRexIn an X post, the shopper, known only as James, claimed a sugar-free version of the soda would be the perfect accompaniment to hot dogs.
James wasn’t done there with his requests as he asked if the chain could bring back a smoked sausage product.
The pack of sausages the shopper requested is sold at Sunset Farm Foods locations.
A Sam’s Club staffer responded to the shopper and revealed what he had to do to formally request the discontinued items.
“Thank you for reaching out with your concern,” the representative said.
“We value feedback to continuously enhance our members’ shopping experience.”
The representative provided a link that directed the shopper to a webpage to complete their request.
Customers have to enter their details and send a message.
They have the option of entering their membership number but this is not compulsory.
Shoppers must be relatively concise in their requests, as their messages can only be 275 characters long.
The Sam’s Club member requested the soda flavor just days after it was confirmed that Coca-Cola would be returning to Costco food courts.
The iconic brand is making a comeback after more than a decade away.
Costco will begin switching the branding on the soda fountains and this change is expected to be completed by the summer.
But, the decision to switch cola brands did spark division.
SHOCK MOVE
“Pepsi is king and Coke is water,” one critic scoffed on X.
Others begged the wholesaler to provide answers as to why it is making the change.
Pepsi lovers couldn’t comprehend why Costco is making the switch.
“Why why why is Costco getting rid of this sweet drink,” a shopper despaired.
Costco will not just be switching the type of cola on offer at soda fountains.
Chiefs will be making changes to the syrups, cups and straws.
But the soda change isn’t set to set a precedent for further changes.
Costco chiefs already confirmed the brand’s famous $1.50 hot dog isn’t set for a price hike.
Costco membership sharing guidelines
Costco has strict rules for membership use that shoppers must follow and they've been cracking down on offenders in recent years.

Household Card: Each primary member can add one free household cardholder who lives at the same address. This person will receive their own membership card and can shop at Costco independently. Guest Policy: Members can bring up to two guests per visit to Costco. However, only the member can make purchases. Guests must be accompanied by the member. Authorized Cardholder: For an additional fee, you can add an authorized cardholder, such as a family member or friend, who doesn’t reside at your address.
