NEW York lotto bosses have issued an urgent warning as one player in the state is sitting on a ticket worth $1 million.
A gambler forked out just $2 on the Mega Millions game and came up trumps.

And, the player bought the ticket at a Lucky Corner store in Manhattan.
The gambler was agonizingly close to landing the top prize, missing out on the jackpot by one number.
New York lotto chiefs have urged players to buy their tickets before the deadline.
Gamblers have to buy their tickets by 10pm on the night of the draw.
Mega Millions draws take place every Tuesday and Friday.
No player won the jackpot meaning it has rolled over once again.
It now stands at an estimated $94 million and the prize pot will have a cash option of $42.3 million.
But, the New York player who landed the $1 million prize will be clobbered by taxes before they even see a dime.
They will have to shell out 24% to the federal government because the prize is over $5,000.
And, in New York, gamblers have to pay the state 10.9%.
New York has one of the highest state taxes on lotto prizes.
