The Rays are going to acquire right-hander Alex Faedo from the Tigers, reports Jeff Passan of ESPN. Faedo had been designated for assignment by the Tigers last week when they signed Tommy Kahnle. The Rays are sending minor league catcher Enderson Delgado and cash to Detroit. The Rays have a full 40-man roster and haven’t yet finalized their deal with infielder Ha-Seong Kim, so they need to open a couple of roster spots.
