Due to the wildfire disasters in the Los Angeles area, the 2025 Genesis Invitational has been moved to Torrey Pines Golf Course (South Course) in La Jolla.
The tournament, which will run from Feb. 13 through Feb. 16, is hosted by Tiger Woods and currently holds 44 of the top 50 players in the Official World Golf Ranking.
The field includes reigning 2024 champion Hideki Matsuyama, who is the current World No. 5. Scottie Scheffler (No. 1), Rory McIlroy (No. 3) and Collin Morikawa (No. 4) are other top-five golfers to commit to the field.
The 72-player field for the PGA Tour Signature Event will feature 13 major championship winners, as well as three past winners. Alongside Matsuyama, Max Homa (2021) and Adam Scott (2005, 2020) join the field as previous Genesis Invitational winners.
The Lodge at Torrey Pines will serve as the hub for all tournament operations as well as any other essential needs.
“As a company rooted in hospitality and care, we are proud to provide safe accommodations and a welcoming space during such challenging times,” said Robert Gleason, President and CEO of Evans Hotels. “Equally, we’re thrilled to bring the Genesis Invitational to San Diego, offering fans and players an opportunity to create joyful memories and support a region recovering from disaster.
The field will be finalized on Feb. 7, the Friday before the tournament. Tickets can be purchased online.
