The NBA All-Star Game format will look different this season, but one thing is always the same.
There is a debate to be had about which players deserve the recognition.
announced last Thursday, the 14 reserves were revealed during TNT’s NBA Tip-Off on Thursday. Here is a look at all the players who will be suiting up at the 2025 NBA All-Star Game at Chase Center in San Francisco on Feb. 16.

The All-Star Game has undergone a number of changes in recent years with team captains picking their squads right before tip-off to a return to the traditional Eastern Conference against Western Conference format.
There will be yet another change this season for the event that will be televised on TNT at 8 p.m. ET on Feb. 16.
Rather than a singular game, there will be a tournament-style event with four teams of eight players. Three of the teams will be made up of the 24 NBA All-Stars, while the fourth team will be the winner of the Rising Stars event on Feb. 14.
Those teams will play two semifinal games with the winners advancing to the title game.
Broadcasters Charles Barkley, Shaquille O’Neal and Kenny Smith will be the honorary general managers of the three teams with the All-Star players and draft their squads on Feb. 6.
Snubs and Reaction
It wouldn’t be an All-Star Game without some snubs, and this year is no different.
Fanbases from every team surely feel like their favorite players should have been included, but some snubs stick out more than others. In fact, Trae Young, LaMelo Ball and Tyrese Maxey stand out the most in the Eastern Conference, while Norman Powell and Domantas Sabonis stand out in the Western Conference.
The good news for those players is they figure to be the first ones chosen if any injury replacements are needed.
But the snubs surely hurt, especially for those players who don’t have a long list of All-Star Game selections on their resume.

Now attention turns to the drafts as Barkley, O’Neal and Smith will have their work cut out for them to make ideal rosters.
