It comes after one Trader Joe’s employee took to social media to share the heartbreaking news, leaving many devastated.

Posting on Trader Joe’s Discontinued, a public Facebook group with 11,500 members, the employee, who is named Stella Blu, shared a snap of the seasonal drink that people wait all year for and then rush to stock up on.

Alongside the snap of the white sangria flavored water, Stella wrote: “These are done for the season, per one of our local crew members.

“I think I got the last box in the store.”

Stella then added: “My family and I have been conducting some polar comparison tests, trying to find an equivalent, but so far no match.

“If anyone has any guesses or inside scoops, please share!!”

And although many of you will be sad to hear the news that the popular drink will no longer be on shelves this season, fear not, as Facebook users eagerly flocked to the comments to share their thoughts – and one user spotted a similar alternative in Target.

One person said: “Just picked some up in NJ.”

Whilst another added: “Target Good Brand has winter sangria.”

So if you love the Trader Joe’s beverage, don’t worry, as there’s a very similar buy from Good & Gather, which you can nab from Target now.

The Winter Sangria Sparkling Water is priced at only $1, making it a perfect purse-friendly alternative.

The unsweetened, limited edition drink is made with natural flavors and has zero calories.

Does Target charge for bags?

Target automatically charges customers for bags in drive up and pickup orders.

The store charges $1 per every 10 bags used, meaning each plastic bag costs 10 cents.

“Charging bag fees for online pickup orders aligns with fees that were already in place for purchases made in Target stores at checkout,” Target shared on their site.

“If you’re purchasing from a store that charges bag fees, they’ll be applied to your order.”

If a customer uses less than 10 bags for their order, the amount is properly adjusted.

However, the rule depends on state and local laws as different stores have different bag policies.

Some locations only charge a five-cent fee for the bags while some spots charge five cents per bag at checkout in the store – and some don’t offer bags at all.

You can check how much you were charged for bags by viewing your order’s invoice through your Target account on Target.com or the app.

Target also allows customers to bring their own bags to avoid the automatic fee since they added bag preferences in March 2024.

If you order online for drive up or pickup at select stores, you can decline Target bags at checkout and tell the store you’ll be bringing your own bags to get your order.

And the carbonated soft drink has clearly proved a hit with shoppers, who have given it an impressive five star rating.

One person described it as ‘pretty good’ and said: “Actually tastes pretty good for flavored soda water!”

Another praised the ‘lovely fruit flavor’ and added: “I was impressed with this. It’s quite good cold.

“Tastes like a mix of fruit flavors, and for the “winter” part, it’s “warm” (vs citrusy, or bright, or a single fruit flavor). I already bought it a second time. I think it would also be a good drink topper.”

And at the same time, a third shopper raved about the ‘not too sweet’ taste and commented: “This is great!
