AWARDS

Area Resources for Community & Human Services received the 2024 Achievement Award from the Tennessee Center for Performance Excellence.

Throttlenet, a managed service provider founded in St. Louis, Missouri in 1999, opened an office in Kansas City, Missouri.

GETTING BETTER

Gateway Sustainable Farmers Alliance, a farmer-led nonprofit, relaunched the Known & Grown STL program to include free delivery service for underserved farmers and buyers within 150 miles of St. Louis, Missouri, that lack access to locally grown and produced food.

MEDICAL RESEARCH GRANTS

The Health Resources and Services Administration awarded Saint Louis University clinicians and researchers an additional $5 million Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program grant to continue geriatrics education and outreach to the St. Louis, Missouri region and across the state.

MILESTONES

Slyman Brothers celebrated its 60th anniversary as an appliance retailer in St. Louis, Missouri. The independent, third-generation business was founded by brothers Bob and Harry Slyman and has grown to five locations.

The Belleville Gear Jammers antique car club celebrated 73 years promoting safe driving and supporting community activities in the St. Louis, Missouri and Metro East region.
