Haider Khan had a PFL debut to remember as he broke his opponent’s arm in gruesome fashion with a vicious leg kick.

The Englishman, who played rugby league before transitioning to MMA at age 18, took on Saudi Arabia’s Mostafa Rashed Nada on the undercard of PFL’s history-making event in Dubai.

But Khan didn’t need long to make his mark, executing the graphic finish with just under two minutes remaining in the first round.

In control of the centre of the cage, Khan threw a kick as he targeted Nada’s midsection.

But Nada knew what was coming and moved his arms to block it.

Unfortunately for the Saudi Arabian, the block cost him the bone structure of his left forearm.

Upon Khan’s leg making contact, Nada’s forearm bent in a way that arms are not meant to.

He looked down and saw the damage that had been done and walked away, prompting the referee to step in and wave off the contest.

It was agony for Nada but ecstasy for Khan, who roared in delight and thumped his chest with his fist.

Khan did briefly pause his celebrations to check in on Nada, who was immediately attended to by the referee.

Former English world champion boxer Amir Khan was present to watch the carnage unfold and told PFL that the man of the moment heard when Nada’s arm snapped.

“Listen, this guy’s a best, he’s an animal,” Khan said.

“He just said that he heard the click, he heard the breaking of the bones.

“He looked in great shape, solid. Wow.”

The stoppage marked the third KO/TKO of Khan’s MMA career as he progressed to 9-1.

Having produced a highlight-reel finish on his PFL debut, Khan will certainly have gained plenty of new fans eager to watch his journey in the sport.

It is a path Khan never contemplated until he googled all things MMA and instantly fell in love.

He eventually chose to pursue the sport when he fell out of love with rugby league and has not looked back.

Khan has shown plenty of potential in his three-and-a-half years as a MMA fighterPFL

Khan made his MMA debut in July 2021 and picked up wins in his first four fights.
