POKÉMON TCG Pocket has been promising new boosters and in-game trading for a while, and we finally have release dates and details for both.
The upcoming set is called Space-Time Smackdown and includes two booster packs featuring Palkia and Dialga.

The set appears to be based on the Sinnoh games, and all of the Pokémon shown in the promo are from Generation 4.
A number of fan-favourite Pokémon from the generation have been added, including the starters, Lucario, Garchomp, and Togekiss.
The description on the Pachirisu EX card describes how its attack increases when a Pokémon Tool is attached.
This is a card type available in the regular TCG, that can attach to Pokémon to give them bonuses.
Tools can provide buffs like extra energy, more HP, more attack, or extra defense.
The new set will be released in TCG Pocket on Wednesday, January 29, 2025. Here are the 26 new cards as seen in the trailer:

Trading will begin on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, and it will require two new types of currency in order to be used.
There will be Trade Stamina, which will work like Pack and Wonder Stamina and will charge over time.
There will also be Trade Hourglasses, which will allow you to replenish your Stamina without waiting.
Players will also need to use a completely new currency when trading, depending on the rarity of the card they want to trade.
Only cards up to one-star rarity can be traded, and only cards of the same rarity can be exchanged.
Players will also need to be friends in order to trade.
