Andrés, 55, was one of four "Presidential Appointees from the previous Administration” who “are not aligned with our vision to Make America Great Again," Trump, 78, said in a post via Truth Social just after midnight on Tuesday, Jan. 21, in which he also named Mark Milley, Brian Hook and Keisha Lance Bottoms. The former Apprentice star also wrote that his office is "actively in the process of identifying and removing over a thousand" more appointees.
"I submitted my resignation last week…my 2 year term was already up," Andrés wrote via X, adding that he was "honored to serve as co-chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition" and was "proud" of what he and his fellow council members "accomplished on behalf of the American people."
