ExpandThe Kaleidoscope mall in Mission Viejo offers restaurants, a movie theater and other fun things to do at night, including for at least the next month, a pop-up roller rink.
Created by a Long Beach skate shop owner, Shayna “Pigeon” Meikle, the pop-up rink is offering a smooth surface and even smoother vibe for a fun few hours on wheels. She’s also had a pop-up rink in Long Beach, not far from her Pigeon’s Roller Skate Shop.
The skate rink, which is utilizing an empty space on the plaza level, will be open 4 to 11 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sundays at the mall on Crown Valley Parkway; a day pass costs $20 and rentals $10, whether you want your wheels in the old school grouping of four or inline.
