CBS broadcaster Tony Romo took plenty of issue with an officiating call on the Buffalo Bills during Sunday’s Divisional Round game.

The sequence occurred during the first quarter of the Buffalo Bills playoff matchup against the Baltimore Ravens at Highmark Stadium.

Tony Romo and Jim Nantz were on the call of the Baltimore Ravens-Buffalo Bills Divisional Round showdown Romo slammed the refs over a call in the first quarter of the gameCBS

The Bills and Ravens scored touchdowns on their first drives of the game.

But Buffalo’s next offensive drive came to a halt due to a holding call on left tackle Dion Dawkins.

However, the replay showed the offensive lineman didn’t hold the opposing player.

Romo made sure to air his criticisms of the decision on the CBS broadcast.

“Oh that is not a hold at all, Jim,” Romo said alongside play-by-play commentator Jim Nantz.

“He just swipes his hands down, a little trap technique which is like when you try to put your hands on him you swipe it down. That’s a terrible call.”

The call turned the 3rd-and-3 play into a 2nd-and-22 situation.

The Bills would punt a few plays later.

Fans agreed with Romo on social media but also shared their beliefs that the refs were purposely favoring the Ravens.

“So blatant. Refs are so cheating,” one wrote.

“Clearly the NFL wants the Ravens to win. Refs not even hiding their favoritism,” another commented.

“Refs are cheating for them early,” a third added.

The Bills would lead the Ravens 21-10 at halftime.

Buffalo’s defense forced two-time NFL MVP Lamar Jackson to throw an interception and fumble the ball during the first half.
