SAN JOSE — Police arrested two men on suspicion of participating in an armed robbery that took place last year, according to a press release.
On July 12, 2024, police responded to a report of armed robbery on the 2600 block of Alum Rock Avenue, where five suspects had entered a business and took $6,000 worth of property while brandishing firearms at the victims, authorities said. In addition to items, the suspects stole cash. They fled the scene before police arrived.

They obtained arrest and search warrants for both suspects.
The San Jose suspect was arrested on Nov. 13 and booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of armed robbery, authorities said.
The other suspect was arrested Jan. 8 in Stockton and also booked into Santa Clara County Main Jail on suspicion of armed robbery, officers said. In his residence, detectives found multiple unregistered handguns, an unregistered AK-47 rifle, a stolen lever action rifle and multiple extended magazines.
Three suspects in the case remain outstanding. Police have asked anyone with information on the robbery to contact Detective Williams at 4766@sanjoseca.gov or 408-277-4166.
