CRIS Collinsworth wasn’t impressed by the toughness of an NFL playoff quarterback.
Jayden Daniels took a big hit in the Washington Commanders-Tampa Bay Buccaneers game and was left bloodied on the sideline.

“The athletic training staff was waiting for him after the touchdown drive on the sideline,” Melissa Stark reported.
“They let him give all his high fives and celebrate, then they sat him down, cleaned it out, put sterile glue on it to close it up, and he was ready to go.”
While NBC cameras showed blood pouring down Daniels’ face, Collinsworth seemed unimpressed by the quarterback’s injury.
He used his airtime to suggest that other players get bloodied on the field all the time but don’t get any TV coverage.
“Oh, come on,” he said.
“We wouldn’t even show that if it was anybody but a quarterback.
“There wouldn’t be a cut man on the sideline working on him. It would just be, ‘You look great.'”
NFL fans had split opinions of Collinsworth’s criticisms and shared their thoughts on social media.
“If that was Mahomes, Collinsworth himself would have called 911,” one fan said.
“I feel like they would still. The people love a gritty player with blood pointing down their face. That’s a fact,” another fan said.
“Hate to agree with Collinsworth but he’s not wrong,” a third fan said.
“What do we have to do to get Cris off these games, man,” a fourth fan said.
“He’s the worst but he’s not wrong here,” a fifth fan said.
Despite having his face busted up, Daniels had a great game against the Buccaneers.

Daniels’ efforts helped the Commanders eke out a 23-20 win in the wild-card round.
They are moving on to face the No. 1 seed Detroit Lions in the divisional round.
With the loss, the Buccaneers are officially out of the playoffs and into the offseason.
They will own the No. 20 overall pick in the upcoming 2025 NFL Draft.
