It's unclear if the actor was home at the time of the visit, but snapshots show several members of the FBI, identified by the bureau's acronym emblazoned across the back of their t-shirts and bulletproof vests, alongside members of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department lingering outside his property early on Sunday, Jan. 12.
According to the publication, the law enforcement officials were witnessed waiting outside his Brentwood gate "for several minutes" before they left. The reason for their stop remains unclear. Parade reached out to his representatives for comment but did not hear back by the time of publishing.
While many have lost their homes, including Mandy Moore, Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, Ricki Lake, Paris Hilton and more, Affleck's seems to have made it out unscathed. Although, with many of the fires still raging, it’s not out of the woods just yet.
Firefighters continued to battle the blazes and high winds into Monday, with officials reporting over 23,000 acres burned in the Palisades Fire and over 14,000 acres devastated in the nearby Eaton Fire as of midnight local time.
