On Wednesday, the Hairspray alum penned a poignant tribute to her property, where she and husband Ross Burningham said "I do" in 2022, revealing that the couple had lost their "dream home" to the fire.
"It’s all gone. ?I can’t believe I am typing these words," Lake, 56, wrote in the caption of her Jan. 8 Instagram upload, which included some of her favorite images taken on the property.
"We never took our heavenly spot on the bluff overlooking our beloved malibu for granted, not even for one second," the TV personality added, reminding fans how she "shared our sunset ? views almost daily with all of you."

"This loss is immeasurable," Lake continued, "It’s the spot where we got married 3 years ago.I grieve along with all of those suffering during this apocalyptic event.Praying for all of my neighbors, my friends, my community, the animals, the firefighters and first responders."
Lake's home is, unfortunately, one of more than 300 structures that have been decimated, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection (Cal Fire). As of 3 p.m. local time on Wednesday, the Palisades Fire had burned over 15,800 acres and was 0 percent contained as it still threatened more than 13,000 homes and buildings.
