India National Cricket Team's diamond, Jasprit Bumrah, gave his all in the recently concluded Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2024-25. The fast bowler made sure that he left no stone unturned as he had the best series by an Indian fast bowler in the Australian conditions.
The toll of bowling over 150 overs clearly got reflected as the fast bowler was injured in the last match of the series. Jasprit Bumrah bowled just 10 overs in the first innings and then went for scans after he experienced back spasm and then didn't return in the second innings.

Balwinder Sandhu added that bowling 15 overs in a day is not a big deal for a bowler. He, while lashing out at Jasprit Bumrah, said that if a pacer can't bowl 20 overs in an innings, he should forget about playing for India.
"Bowling 15 overs in a day, and that too in different spells, is not a big deal for a bowler. You’re not bowling on all five days of a Test match. He took three or four spells to bowl those overs. Today, you have the best physios, the best masseurs, and excellent doctors to take care of your body. If a bowler can’t bowl 20 overs in an innings, he should forget about playing for India.
