Burton's engagement to Lundstrom comes after his split from his wife of over 20 years, Gustin. The actor initially announced their separation in 2022 by writing on his Instagram Stories, via Page Six, "I wanted to clear something up. Sheree and I are separated. She recently announced that she’s expecting her 4th child. The child is not mine."
Gustin has since revealed her partner on social media, confirming that he was the father of her fourth child. They welcomed another child in February 2024.
