In a driving under the influence (DUI)/Drivers License Checkpoint conducted by the Chula Vista Police Department, there were over 3,500 vehicles that traveled throughout the checkpoint during the six-hour period.

The checkpoint was held in the 300 block of East H Street in Chula Vista from 6 p.m. to 12 a.m. The location was determined based on reports of impaired driving-related crashes.
