Noah Thomas, a junior Texas A&M wide receiver heading into his senior season, made a move to the transfer portal on Wednesday after 3 seasons in College Station.
Thomas is a very talented receiver with high-level SEC experience, and a major loss for Mike Elko and Co. He started for the Aggies this past year, hauling in 39 receptions for 574 yards and 8 touchdowns, leading A&M in both categories. Thomas sits at 73 catches for 984 yards and 15 touchdowns for his career.
The former 4-star recruit is going to be a hot commodity, and he’s immediately one of the best available players in the portal.

— Pete Nakos (@PeteNakos_) January 1, 2025Thomas’ abilities as an end zone target are, as you can tell by his number, by far his best quality as a football player. he stands at 6-6, 200 pounds – built like a small forward. Because of this he holds a natural advantage against undersized DBs. Pair Thomas with a solid quarterback and he could be a truly dominant player, even at the SEC level.
Now the question will inevitably be this: Where will he go? Texas is for sure a possibility given their current status and Arch Manning set to take the reins in 2025. Tennessee and South Carolina could both use big-body receivers as targets for Nico Iamaleava and LaNorris Sellers, too.
