The collaboration was initially released over a year ago, but it's remained at the top of the minds of many who still wish they got to taste it, even if only a crumb.
In case you missed it, back in the spring of 2023, Krispy Kreme locations in Guatemala began serving a limited-edition Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tart doughnut. The sweet treat started with a fresh Krispy Kreme doughnut and was filled with strawberry jelly and topped with frosting, sprinkles and broken-up chunks of Strawberry Pop-Tarts.

"We need the Pop-Tart doughnuts here!" Snackolator pleaded at the time, echoing similar remarks made this week, after this year's Pop-Tarts Bowl "reminded [me] of one of the coolest looking collabs."

That said, Pop-Tarts did partner with Nothing Bundt Cakes earlier this year on a special Frosted Strawberry Pop-Tart cake. The brand is also testing out a new flavor in the U.S. that's inspired by another pastry that looks awfully close to something Krispy Kreme served up this past fall.
