AMERICANS are being urged to check their lottery tickets – as a $50,000 Powerball prize only has days until it expires.
The Minnesota Lottery is urging its players to make sure they don’t have the winning ticket, because if they do they need to get to claim their cash as soon as possible.

The Powerball is running several other lottery games that will expire soon, but this one only has a few days remaining.
Players have until January 3rd 2025 to claim their $50,000 if they have the winning numbers.

There are two more $50,000 jackpots up for grabs that don’t have long left either.
Powerball customers have until March 23rd to claim one of the two other totals, which was bought at a Super One Foods in Baxter, Minnesota.
The third and final Powerball $50,000 has until April 1st 2025 to be taken home by a lucky winner.
That ticket was bought at a Kwik Trip in Monticello.
Players have until a year after the game is opened until it closes, and the money cannot be given to the winner if it hasn’t already been claimed.
The grand $100,000 Powerball with Power Play prize has until June 24th 2025 to be claimed, bought at a Speedway in White Bear Lake.
