Lockdown issued in Antioch due to law enforcement activity ...Middle East

(KRON) -- The Antioch Police Department (APD) has issued a lockdown advisory due to ongoing law enforcement activity near Country Hills and Knoll Park.

The alert went out just after 10 p.m. on Saturday.

Residents and businesses in the area north of Lone Tree Way and south of Country Hills Drive are urged to take immediate precautions:

Go inside and secure your location. Lock all windows and doors. Stay off the phone unless reporting a life-threatening emergency. Do not call 911 unless there is an immediate emergency. To report suspicious activity, contact the Antioch Police Department at (925) 779-6900.
