In 2021, Mike and Kristie Mosher became the owners of what was then known as the Broken Plow Brewery, 4731 10th St., Unit G, Greeley.
The couple changed the name to Rule105 Brewing, and it has been home to all things University of Nebraska athletics, live music, food and beer.
Three years later, though, the couple is looking for new ownership.
In a Facebook post on Friday afternoon, the couple announced they’re moving back to Nebraska and are exploring ways to hand over or sell their brewery.
“We love Rule105 and would love to continue this business, but our heartstrings are pulling us back home,” the post read. “But before we leave, we want to find the perfect person (or group) to take over and enjoy our customers as much as we do.”
went on to say that the couple is willing to work with the new owners for a period to get adjusted to their new roles. The couple also wrote they’re open to selling the brewery and it being moved to a new location.
“We have made lifelong friends at Rule105, and many have become family to us. Our staff is phenomenal and we couldn’t have gotten this far without them,” the post read.
The couple added new beers as well as trivia nights, a competitive Cribbage night and Rock Band Bingo night at the brewery.
Even though the couple has fostered many relationships in the community, they stated in the post that they’re grandparents and they want to be closer to their three grandchildren.
