DENVER (KDVR) -- Over 200 flights in and out of the Denver International Airport are impacted by delays and cancelations Thursday amid busy holiday travel.

DIA holiday travel guide: Busy airport times and security changes to know about

According to FlightAware, an online tool that tracks air traffic and the status of flights, as of 11:30 a.m., there are 221 flights in and out of DIA that are delayed and 14 that are canceled.

Of the delayed flights, 120 are departing from Denver. Travelers heading out of DIA can check with their airline or enter flight information on FlightAware to check the status of their flight.

Here is a breakdown of the airlines with the most delays:

Southwest: 104 United: 52 SkyWest: 33 Frontier: 11 American Airlines: 6 Delta: 6

There are 13 flights that are canceled Thursday, including:

According to the FlightAware MiseryMap, DIA has the fourth most delayed and canceled flights of all airports across the U.S. on Thursday, following behind Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, Chicago O'Hare International Airport and George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

As for Friday, there is just 1 flight delayed as of 11:30 a.m. Thursday. Friday is expected to be one of the busiest days of the year at DIA.
