This week, the music superstar made the day merry and bright for one group of young choir singers after making a surprise appearance in the middle of their rehearsal.
The "Shape of You" crooner was photographed in Ipswich, England, on Monday, Dec. 16, where he showed up at the St. Mary le Tower church to ask the children's choir if he could listen in on their Christmas carols rehearsals and officially open up their new Song School.

— Ipswich Star (@ipswichstar24) December 17, 2024Sheeran was appropriately dressed in Ipswich Town gear, representing the city's professional football club, of which he is a minority owner. The "Shivers" artist acquired a 1.5 percent stake in the club back in August.
"My hope is that his commitment and work will encourage many more young people to explore singing," Mumford concluded.
