Four people were hospitalized out of precaution, including two children, after an Orange Unified School bus and an SUV sideswiped each other in Orange on Monday, Dec. 16.
The collision occurred around 3 p.m. on the 6000 block of Santiago Canyon Road, west of Silverado Elementary School. It was unclear how many students were on board or which vehicle initially struck the other, only that the impact sideswiped both the small school bus and SUV, California Highway Patrol Officer Sergio Rivera said.

ExpandThe driver and passenger of the SUV were transported after complaints of pain, along with two 5-year-old children onboard the bus as a precautionary measure.
Rivera could not confirm whether the children were students at Silverado Elementary.
