December 5, 2024 (ENTEBBE) – A Sudanese civilian coalition is exploring the possibility of forming a government in exile, a move that has sparked internal disagreement. Sources within the Tagadum coalition told Sudan Tribune that a political coordination mechanism was formed Thursday to study the Revolutionary Front’s proposal. Most members of the coalition’s leadership body rejected the proposal. The mechanism will also communicate with groups outside of Tagadum, including the Communist and Arab Ba’ath Socialist parties, the Sudan Liberation Movements led by Abdel Wahid Nur, and the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North led by Abdel Aziz al-Hilu.
