Two residences owned by the family of slain UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson were targeted Wednesday evening in what police are describing as a “swatting” incident, according to the Minnesota Star Tribune. The Maple Grove Police Department said Thursday it received a report of a bomb threat at approximately 7 p.m. on Wednesday at two residences in the Minneapolis suburb belonging to Thompson and his wife, Paulette Thompson. The threat was sent in an email to multiple people, who in turn alerted law enforcement, according to the Tribune.
