CLEVELAND COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) - A one-year-old is expected to make a full recovery after being shot by a three-year-old sibling this week, the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office said on Tuesday. Deputies responded to the incident on Tuesday at a location on Buck Horn Lane in the Lawndale area. The child was found by deputies suffering from gunshot wounds and was transported to an area medical center and is expected to make a full recovery. An initial investigation stated that the child was accidentally shot by a sibling who was able to get ahold of a gun in the home.
