DENVER (KDVR) -- Several houses in Byers are being evacuated after a structure with flammable material caught fire and exploded fuel tanks. The Arapahoe Sheriff's Office posted on X around 11:30 a.m. that deputies were on the scene in the 600 block of East Pleasant Avenue in Byers. This is about a mile away from Byers High School.
