At least two Chicago-area malls have issued traffic advisories ahead of Black Friday, with large crowds and increased traffic likely on what is expected to be one of the busiest shopping days of the year. In recent years, some have even lined up in the wee hours of the night before stores opened, hearkening back to legendary Black Fridays of the 1990s.
