Fatal pedestrian crash in San Ramon shuts down SB 680 lanes ...Middle East

(KRON) -- A fatal pedestrian-involved traffic collision has closed multiple lanes of southbound Interstate 680 in San Ramon, according to the California Highway Patrol. The crash occurred south of Crow Canyon Road just before 5 a.m. As of 5:15 a.m., two right lanes remain blocked. All lanes were previously shut down. A coroner was called to the scene at 5:06 a.m. There is no expected time for all lanes to open. Motorists are advised to use alternative routes and expect delays. This is a developing story.
