Mrs. Mary Katherine “Chat” Agee Blackburn, age 93, of Brush Creek, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Mrs. Blackburn was born June 15, 1931, in the Rawls Creek Community of Smith County, TN, a daughter of the late Velvin Agee and Sadie Mae Shoemake Agee. She married John Douglas Blackburn on April 22, 1947 and he preceded her in death on October 5, 2009. Mrs. Blackburn retired from Robertshaw Controls in Lebanon, TN. She was a longtime member of the New Middleton Baptist Church. Mrs. Blackburn is survived by Children; Kathy (Terry) Vantrease of Lebanon, TN, and Larry (Karen) Blackburn of Lebanon, TN.
