Three Section V volleyball teams win respective NYSPHSAA Titles ...Middle East

Three Section V volleyball squads have won their respective NYS title over the weekend. Fairport girls volleyball claimed their first New York State title with a 3-1 win over Shenendehowa on Saturday. The Red Raiders win the AAA title, the biggest in New York State. Fairport went 16-1 in the regular season with their lone loss coming against Brighton. Pittsford Sutherland girls volleyball picked up their fourth state title in program history with a 3-1 win over Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake on Sunday. The Knights went 15-2 in the regular season.
