The National Weather Service has extended the Winter Storm Warning, currently in effect for the western slope of the northern Sierra Nevada, until 4 AM Wednesday. Additionally, the Winter Storm Warning has also been extended for Yosemite National Park (above the Valley floor) through 4 PM Wednesday. The first wave of the winter storm is moving out of the region this morning. The next, more intense wave of snowfall is expected tonight into Monday morning and will continue into Wednesday. There will be periods of moderate to heavy snow. The snow levels range between 4,000 to 5,000 feet today, which will be increasing to 5,000 to 6,500 feet on Monday, then lowering 4,000 to 5,000 feet on Tuesd
