UPDATE: Wayne Middle School on remote learning after Friday’s fire ...Middle East

Wayne Middle School experienced a fire on Friday that caused damage requiring professional cleaning and restoration. Originally, it was thought that the majority of the building would be cleared for return on Wednesday, November 20. Now their plans have adjusted to address the temporary switch in learning. The middle school students in grades 5-8 will move to remote learning from Wednesday, November 20, through Friday, November 22. All middle school staff worked collaboratively to finalize the plans for remote instruction. Also, the middle school instructional teams worked to finalize their plans that would ensure students continue to receive meaningful and engaging learning opportunities.
