A Willits man was recently convicted of driving under the influence and hit and run, the Mendocino County District Attorney’s Office reported. According to the office of DA David Eyster, Clayton Joel Sternick, 44, of Willits, “was found guilty of misdemeanor driving a motor vehicle while unlawfully under the influence of a drug, driving on a suspended license, and hit-and-run driving” by a jury in Mendocino County Superior Court recently.
