Shel Talmy, a prolific and influential producer who oversaw some of the most iconic songs in rock history, has died at the age of 87. Talmy’s publicist confirmed the news, announcing that he passed away on Wednesday (Nov. 13) at his Los Angeles due to complications from a stroke.
