Modesto Driver Arrested For DUI After Crash ...Middle East

Jamestown, CA – A Modesto man was handcuffed for DUI after a solo vehicle crash on Highway 108/120. The collision happened west of O’Byrnes Ferry Road after 1 p.m. last Wednesday, November 6, and blocked the westbound lane for about an hour while CHP officers directed backed-up traffic. The CHP reports that 24-year-old Christopher Hooper and his passenger, 22-year-old Orion Ingram, both from Modesto, were in a 2000 Chevrolet Tahoe westbound. They noted that as Hopper came upon slowed traffic, he allowed his SUV to leave the roadway. It then struck a curb and overturned onto its roof.
