Tuolumne County, CA—The public is encouraged to attend a third Stanislaus National Forest town hall tomorrow evening, which will focus on the SERAL project. The Summit and Mi-Wok Ranger District of the Stanislaus National Forest are hosting a two-hour community town hall event on Wednesday, November 13, the third in a series of quarterly events, focusing on the SERAL project, Wildfire Crisis Strategy Landscape, and updates from all major program areas in the first hour. “We are hoping to engage with our local communities and allow them to learn more about the forest and the work to be done to reduce risk and maintain a healthy forest,” said Summit and Mi-Wok District Ranger Shawn Winstead.
