Astana, SANA- The delegation of the Syrian Arab Republic to the 22nd International Meeting on Syria in the Astana Format, headed by Assistant Foreign and Expatriates Minister, Ayman Raad, met with the delegation of the Russian Federation headed by Russian President’s Special Envoy to Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev. The Syrian delegation also met the delegation of the Islamic Republic of Iran headed by Senior Assistant to the Iranian Foreign Minister, Ali Asghar Khaji. Talks during the two meetings touched on the agenda of the International Meeting, exchanged views and coordinated various issues related to the Astana track, and addressed joint efforts to combat terrorism.
